We are looking for men who are serious about growing in their faith and convicted about the need to become better equipped as leaders in their homes, churches, communities and marketplace.

If your church has men of this caliber, CLC would like to stand with you and help you mold these men into the leaders they are called to be.

Dr. Craig Fry brings a diverse background and passionate heart to CLC, including over 25 years in ministry and extensive experience in the business world. He has served as a youth minister, college minister, associate pastor, senior pastor and as a volunteer hospital chaplain. He has overseen small groups, planned conferences and led what church growth experts call a “mega church”. His involvement in the business community has varied from executive sales and sales coach to a stint as Chief Operations Officer.

Craig’s educational portfolio is just as diverse, with an undergraduate degree from Belmont University and graduate degrees from Moody Graduate School and Luther Rice Seminary. He has also completed a Master’s Certificate in Business & HR Management from Tulane University’s A. B. Freeman School of Business.

Craig and his wife Christi are the proud parents of three fun and energetic daughters. They are also honored to be new grandparents to a very cherished granddaughter. With this blend of pursuits and passions in the mix, Craig has dedicated his life to seeing men grow in biblical grace and Christ-likeness. He is humbled by and strategically focused on the kind of transformation that takes place when a man loves the Lord, his family and the church with the same fervor that Christ modeled for us.

On the weekend, you might find Craig on the golf course, cheering on the Big Orange of Tennessee, riding his motorcycle or passionately worshipping Jesus with his family. Each day, he looks forward to seeing what God is going to do in and through CLC!

David Bianconi

Vice President of CLC, City Director, Knoxville

David Bianconi grew up in Nashville and first heard the gospel through Young Life as a high school student. As a University of Tennessee student, David found real joy learning and practicing the relational ministry style taught through Young Life. Soon after college, David met Kristin, the two fell in love, married, and they were blessed with five children. Katie, Jesse, Elise, Claire, and Janie are all in school, working hard (most of the time), and learning how to give and receive love as they grow up in a family of seven.

David’s first experience with CLC began in 1995 as a group participant. David saw the way men grew in the Lord as they came together, let their guard down, and allowed the Lord to change them. David went on to co-lead two more groups over the next few years, and as he grew in the Lord, he grew in his understanding of how men mature in Christ through CLC.

In September 2004, David answered the call to go on staff with CLC in Knoxville. David stands on the shoulders of many men who have invested in the fifteen year history of CLC in Knoxville. David is a staff member of a Knoxville CLC City Leadership Team that wants to see God change Knoxville as men grow in Christ, and that growth filters through marriages, children, local churches, and the community.

David loves walking in the Smoky Mountains, working in his blacksmith shop, playing with his children, and going on dates with Kristin.

Danny Parker

City Director, Pittsburgh, PA

Danny Parker joined the CLC staff in 2010 as Pittsburgh City Director following ten years as the Director of Men’s Discipleship & Ministry at Orchard Hill Church in Wexford, PA. As a Pastor with the calling of building men into the “full measure of Christ” he used CLC as a primary springboard and teaching tool to help accomplish that reality. Forty-nine CLC Groups later … nearly 500 men in one church … over the ten years … that’s a God movement! In the process, other churches heard about what God was doing in the men’s lives at his church and as a result he was able to teach and train fifteen other churches to use the CLC curriculum and model for their men. Over 140 CLC groups in the Pittsburgh area and beyond are the results of what started at Orchard Hill.

Danny came to Orchard Hill following twelve years as a Special Agent with Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company and the Bill Cochran General Agency out of Nashville, TN. During that time with NML his sons: Jordan (US Navy Seabee) and Raley (Young Life Area Director in NW Georgia) finished their studies at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. Prior to NML, Danny was a Pastor in the Presbyterian Church. He attained his Masters of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA … at which time Anna, his wife, received her BSN from Emory University School of Nursing. Anna currently serves as a Hospice Nurse. The Parker’s have been married for forty-one years!
Prior to Seminary, Danny was on the Young Life Staff as Area Director for twelve years in Augusta, GA and Johnson City, TN. He joined the YL staff following his and Anna’s graduation from the University of Tennessee Knoxville.

Danny graduated from Young High School in South Knoxville, his fourth High School. It was at that time, through the ministry of Young Life, that he came to know Jesus. Prior to that time … well, that does not really matter … because Christ has made all the difference in this “jar of clay!”

While at the bank, He received his MBA from Georgia State University. While Neal had grown up in a Christian home, he had an awakening on the trip to celebrate his graduation from Georgia State at Nantahala, North Carolina. From this point on Neal has earnestly sought a deeper relationship with Christ. Neal has been married to Bonni since February 2002 and they have one boy (Will) and one daughter (Caroline).

Since 1998, Neal has worshipped at Peachtree Road UMC. While there, he has served on many boards and chaired the Building and Grounds committee. He also enjoyed being a youth leader and going on many mission trips with MYF. He currently enjoys leading a 36-week Disciple class at PRUMC and teaching Sunday School classes. He has also built homes in the Buckhead area of Atlanta through his company Creech Custom Builders, Inc.

He counts that group and his second group as his best friends now. He said, "It was an incredible experience that I want every friend to experience". Neal sees CLC as the catalyst for men who have a desire to be leaders in the Kingdom. Danny Jeffries

Middle Tenn. Area Director

Danny Jeffries joined the CLC staff in 2009. The youngest of eight children, Danny was raised in Dyersburg, Tennessee. He earned a football scholarship to the University of Tennessee where he received a business degree in marketing. Although Danny grew up in church, he didn't have a personal relationship with Jesus until the age of 25 when a friend shared Christ with him. This ignited a passion in Danny to share his faith. One of the men he later trained in evangelism introduced him to his wife, Brenda. Danny and Brenda love parenting their five children: Chelsea, Chloe, Clay, Claire, and Connor. The Jeffries live in Brentwood, Tennessee, where they attend Fellowship Bible Church.

Danny's work experience in sales and management includes the State of Tennessee, Avon, and Great American Opportunities. Before coming to CLC, Danny was a financial advisor with Southwestern Investment Services.

As Danny met with his clients and prospects, he began wanting to spend more time ministering than was possible. While caring about their finances, he was even more concerned about them spiritually. He came to realize that God was calling him into full-time ministry where he could continue to build relationships and encourage others. Danny wants to impact people for Jesus, so he is excited about serving men and their families through CLC.

Minnesota Area Director

Larry Jamieson grew up going to church, and he was baptized at the age of 15. It wasn’t until the age of 31 however, that the Lord began to show him that there was more to being a Christian than just going to church. A few years later, in 2002, Larry had the opportunity to be part of one of the first two CLC groups in the state of Minnesota. As he watched the Lord transform his life and the lives of the other men in that group, only then did he begin to realize that his wife needed more from him as a husband and his kids needed more from him as a dad.

Larry has a passion for helping men who want to get serious about going deeper in their relationships with Jesus. “I love to work with men as they begin to understand their roles as leaders in their marriages, families, churches, work places and communities,” he says. “And it’s amazing to see how the Lord equips His men for those roles through the experience of CLC.”

Larry has been married to his wife, Lisa, for 25 years. They have three daughters. Alex is studying Music Business and Accounting at Augsburg College in Minneapolis. Erin, will begin her studies as a Songwriting major at Belmont University in Nashville in the fall of 2013. Carly is a sophomore in high school in Maple Grove, MN.

As a father of a daughter with disabilities (Carly has Angelman Syndrome), Larry also has a heart for families experiencing special needs situations. “Having children with special needs can be an incredible struggle,” Larry says. “But it is also a powerful testimony of the sovereignty of God and the blessings that flow out of His strength into our weakness.”
